As if the confirmed collaborations with Chic legend Nile Rodgers and composer Paul Williams on the new Daft Punk album weren't enough, we can now add another mythical name to the credits list: none other than Giorgio Moroder. The great instigator of synths in disco music confirmed his appearance during an interview he gave last weekend at the International Music Summit, where he said that the French couple put him in a studio full of microphones from different eras and had him talk about his life, for a spoken word piece. Apparently, Moroder asked the engineer what was up with all the mics, to which he answered that he would use a different one for each episode of his life. The new album is starting to look rather interesting.
