This time of year is a good time to stand still for a second and reflect on what 2012 has brought us so far, music-wise. Today we take a look at the album crop. The fifty best titles from the first half of this season, according to PlayGround, in chronological order - rather than properly ranked, which we'll do in December.
After the record sleeves, songs and EPs, today we bring you our selection of the best full-lengths released so far this year. We don't intend to offer you an exhaustive overview or analysis. These albums may or may not be in the definitive lists at the end of this course. What's important is that these are the 50 LPs that, right now, blow our minds, the ones we're playing in the office all day and accompany us on our way to work. We've put them in chronological order for you, starting in January and ending in July. In December, we'll give you our final verdicts.
