The fifth chapter of the visual capsules we shot at San Miguel Primavera Sound, bringing you sights unseen from the festival. Today we sit down with Wilco's Jeff Tweedy to find out a thing or two about the band.
The Playground TV camera didn't take a single break during the three long days at the Barcelona Parc del Fòrum that San Miguel Primavera Sound 2012 lasted. After getting up-close and personal with The Drums in the first episode, the historical The Cure in the second, right before walking on stage, Yann Tiersen in a Gaudi masterpiece, and Black Lips in the fourth chapter, now it's one of Thursday’s big winners we’re focusing on: Wilco. We sat down with Jeff Tweedy, hours before their show, and he explained to us what the Barcelona event means to him, and how tiring this tour is. Furthermore, we filmed the group's brilliant performance of “Art Of Almost” from the very first row. Whether you were there or not, let the Chicago band enchant you from the other side of the screen.
As you'll know, these capsules are appetisers for the documentary produced by San Miguel and PlayGround TV called “Primavera”. It won't premiere until the end of September, but we hope that this and the trailer we released a while back will make the wait more bearable.
