Listen to her remix of “Work, Live & Sleep In Collapsing Space”

“Work, Live & Sleep In Collapsing Space” is the new EP by Jamie Teasdale, alias Kuedo, on Planet Mu. To accompany the title cut, recorded during the sessions for the acclaimed “Severant” (Planet Mu, 2011), the Briton asked Laurel Halo and Claude Speed for remixes. Four Tet Shares “Jupiters”

A-side of the new release on Text

Kieran Hebden has reference number 15 for Text Records ready. We have already heard a fragment of the B-side, “Ocoras”, among the songs on “Conference of the Birds Mix” (you can also hear it at the end of these lines as a radio rip). Now comes “Jupiters”, a cut that walks a fine line in dazzling cosmic techno ambient with arpeggios, before moving on to three-speed rhythms that bring together the groove of house and the depth of bass dynamics, oscillating between garage and dubtec. Another small gem from the Four Tet factory.

Dive Become DIIV

An infectious new single, “Doused”, unveiled

Continuing with his unstoppable production pace, Zachary Cole Smith, one of the boys from Beach Fossils, has unveiled a new single from his project Dive; or perhaps we should say, the project previously known as Dive, because from now on, we are supposed to refer to this group as DIIV. The new song, “Doused”, has few vocal fragments, perhaps so that the wonderful guitars will sound even clearer. It’s impossible to get them out of your mind. Remember that Captured Tracks will release the debut album, “Oshin”, on 26th June.

Listen To Beach House's “Equal Mind”

B-side of their Record Store Day release

Our informers told us Saturday that it was almost impossible to get a copy of “Lazuli”, the highly collectible Record Store Day 7” by Beach House, so few people will have heard the B-side, “Equal Mind”, another majestic track the band conquers a new piece of our hearts with.

Kuedo At The Boiler Room

Listen to his galactic set in Berlin

Jamie Teasdale, alias Kuedo, was one of the guests at the most recent Boiler Room night in Berlin. The Briton offered a very cosmic set, starting out floating and ending with electric shocks at break-neck speed. Highly recommended.

A$AP Rocky Presents The First Single From His Debut Album

Listen to “Goldie”, produced by Hit Boy

As we told you, A$AP Rocky's official album debut will be this summer with LongLifeA$AP”. After his flaming performance at Coachella, he's now bringing us the first single from the LP. “Goldie” was produced by Hit Boy, who also made Jay-Z & Kanye West's “Niggas in Paris”, and he wraps Pretty Flacko's narcotic flow in light melodies and mechanical rhythms. It's a proper introduction to one of hip-hop's most awaited albums of the year. It will, as you'll know, feature further productions by the likes of Pharrell, Clams Casino and SpaceGhostPurrp, among others, alongside vocal contributions by Santigold and Lana Del Rey. The future looks bright for Rocky.
