Yeasayer’s Trippy New Song

The Brooklyn band presents “Longevity”

Artist: Yeasayer

Record Label: Secretly Canadian

Genre: psych-pop

Yeasayer tweeted the word “LNGVTY” last night. A mysterious acronym for some, but not so much for those of us who have already studied the tracklist of their coming album, “Fragrant World”. A few minutes ago, they posted some psychedelic visuals to this “Longevity” on their YouTube channel. It’s a cut that answers to the same trippy drives as the images suggest, with a heavy rhythm, like an heir to the Talking Heads. It is significantly less accessible than the first piece they revealed a few weeks ago, “Henrietta”. Don’t forget the album will go on sale on 21st August.
