YACHT Reclaims Brigitte Fontaine

The band debuts in French with “Le Goudron”

Artist: YACHT

Record Label: DFA Records

Genre: pop, disco pop

In order to pave the way for their imminent European tour, the always-restless band YACHT have got set their eye on one of the strangest, most interesting albums of chanteuse Brigitte Fontaine, “Comme à la Radio”, recorded in 1971 with the The Art Ensemble Of Chicago (with the addition of comrade Leo Smith as second trumpet). The cover that YACHT has made of “Le Goudron” brings the original back to enjoy it under a huge glittering disco ball; you can download it thanks to DFA by clicking here.
