The Shins have just finished a five-year break and are eager to promote their new effort, “Port Of Morrow”, due out on 20th March. Last week, they rolled up to the Poisson Rouge in New York for a concert broadcast and recorded by NPR (watch and listen below), playing seven of the ten new songs, plus some classics from their previous LPs. As if that wasn’t enough, Mercer and his gang stepped onto the “Saturday Night Live” stage last weekend to play “Simple Song” and “It’s Only Life”.
