The Shins Premiere The Video For “Simple Song”

Starring an unusual wake

Artist: The Shins

Record Label: Columbia, Aural Apothecary

Genre: pop, indie rock

Imagine that your fun-loving dad, in the last moments of his life, decides to leave the house you grew up in to the one heir who stands out above the others after a confrontation with only one rule: survival of the fittest. Or at least, that's what it seems like at first... The members of The Shins find themselves in this bizarre situation in the video of “Simple Song”, the first advance track of “Port Of Morrow”, their new album to be released on 20th March. This is, without a doubt, one of the best videos of the year.
