After the controversy between Erykah Badu and The Flaming Lips, the Oklahoma band decided to replace the neo-soul queen with Amanda Palmer, who sings and stars in the new video for “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face”, the song which in its original version (with Badu) was on the “The Flaming Lips And Heady Fwends” album. It's a simple and puzzling piece, with the singer lying in a bath showing her breasts and armpit hair.
