All that talk about changes, sidesteps and twists, but in the end The Drums sound like they always have. At least, there are no surprises on “Money” (and no disappointment, either), not in the sonic nor the visual part. There's the jaunty rhythm, the tickling guitars and the trademark melodies. And in tune with the song's theme is the video by M Bash, in which we see Jonathan Pierce and company roaming the streets of New York with no money to spend, in search of something to entertain them. Their second album, titled “Portamento”, will be out on 12th September via Island.
