Last Friday, we notified you about “The Age of Adz” and voilà now we have the first track circulating on the web. “I Walked” is the cut chosen to be the letter of introduction for Sufjan Stevens’ new work, the first in five years. And if this song tells us anything (besides the fact that Sufjan hasn’t lost his sense of melody in the intervening time), it’s to reaffirm the few clues that were given to us by Asthmatic Kitty: this time it’s the rhythm boxes and synthesizers that serve as the instrumental frame for this album that will be available from 12th October.
