Eaux is Sian Ahern, Stephen Warrington and Ben Crook’s new group; the three are also members of the British post-rock group Sian Alice Group. This is a new adventure in which the trio delves more deeply into electronica from a less standoffish, shinier perspective than in their other project. In “Luther” they weave a fabric of synthesizer melodies, over which Sian Ahern’s voice sounds dreamier and more majestic than ever. The song forms a part of the band’s first release, a 7” single that the label Morning Ritual has just released. Here we leave you with it, along with its official video, in which Paul Wetherell and Ben McConnel show us the melancholy side of fun parks.
