Orcas, Pop Sensibility And Classicism Go Hand In Hand

The combo releases the video for “Arrow Drawn”

Artist: Benoît Pioulard, Orcas, Rafael Anton Irisarri

Record Label: Morr Music

Genre: pop, dream-pop, ambient-pop

Orcas, a new project championed by two heavy-weights of experimental pop and neoclassical ambient-drone, Benoît Pioulard and Rafael Antón Irisarri, has released a video clip for “Arrow Drawn”. It is one of the best songs on their self-titled debut album, which went on sale a couple of weeks ago. The former’s pop sensibility and the latter’s neoclassical impulse come together to make a song with dream-pop shape, vaporous textures, and perfect vocal harmonies. You can watch the video, directed by Sean Curtis Patrick, underneath these lines.
