Since March this year, the Alpha Pup website has been announcing the release of “Drift” (Alpha Pup, 2009) in the near, yet unfixed, future. “Drift” is an album of remixes, the debut of Jason Chung, a prestidigitator of “flexistentialist” beat, under the alias Nosaj Thing. Although the tracklist is as yet a state secret, a release date for “Drift Remixed” has been now confirmed. The album will be released… next week! And it features remixes by, among others, Teebs, Jon Hopkins and Jamie Smith (The xx), who’s done a great job with “Fog”.
