There are good sounding words and bad sounding words, irregardless of their meaning and the context in which they are used. We’re afraid Gonorrhoea falls in the latter category (as does blennorrhea, its synonym). The word sounds dirty (obviously, since it invites you to create mental images of mucous, irritation and decomposing genitalia) and one doesn’t often feel like uttering it. That’s perhaps why Lil Wayne has included some sniggering on “Gonorrhea”, the song opening Wayne’s new birthday EP called “I Am Not a human Being”, out on 27th September.
