On the 6th March, the magnetic Julia Holter went up onstage at Le Poisson Rouge to give her first performance in New York. There, in a basement on Bleecker St., the Californian performer worked her magic to dazzle the audience, performing songs from her two albums. Reinforcing the pop element of her music, but without compromising the enchanted air of her compositions, Holter showed that live, she is just as moving (or even more so) as on the album.
