Pariah (real name Arthur Cayzer) puts on his remix suit once again for How To Dress Well’s “Escape Before The Rain”. The Scotsman leaves out the vocals and emphasises the mantra-like qualities of the song, building a bank of mist of voluptuous textures and drones. The result might leave those who know Pariah for his humid atmospheres and broken rhythms between halfstep and 2step hungry for more, but it’s still a highly recommendable listen.
How To Dress Well will be appearing at Sónar 2011. The Festival will take place from 16th to 18th June at the CCCB in Barcelona, the Fira Gran Via in L’Hospitalet, L’Auditori in Barcelona and the Teatre Grec in Barcelona. Tickets are on sale here.
