Blur Play A New Song

Albarn and Coxon Played “Under The Westway” at a benefit gala

Artist: Blur

Genre: brit-pop

That new album from Blur - that has been refusing to arrive since 1999 - seems to be edging closer every day. In the wake of recent rumours on the subject, last Saturday Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon performed a new Blur song at a benefit gala for War Child. The song is called “Under The Westway” and might be included in the album that they are working on with William Orbit. They offered an unadorned acoustic performance, which might be quite different from the studio version, with Albarn on the piano and Coxon playing Spanish guitar. Tomorrow they will be at the Brit Awards.
