While we were already hooked on the song, with this video “Contact High” becomes even more magnetic. The Krozm crew (Chris Hill and Lachlan Dickie), makers of videos for Midnight Juggernauts, Miami Horror and Cut Copy, once again use their inventiveness, humour and visual refinement on a piece that seems to evolve around the idea of “well-being” and the most aseptic modern comfort of the kind that makes us want to surround ourselves with cold design items and technological ideas that we might not need in moving ever further away from earth, from the flesh, from human contact. There’s the sophisticated executive of the video, wanting to enjoy his comfort, his order... alone and trapped in his onanistic fantasies. Remember that Architecture In Helsinki’s new album will be out on 5th March on Modular and V2/Cooperative Music.
