Active Child

Playing House feat. How To Dress Well

Artist: Active Child

Pat Grossi (alias Active Child) and Tom Krell (alias How To Dress Well) are, in their own way, two of the most gifted voices of their generation. So it’s normal that the former checked out the latter when looking for someone to share vocal duties with on “Playing House”, one of the tracks on “You Are All I See”, his debut album. Grossi’s angelic harp makes way this time for a cascade of hyper-synthetic keyboards supporting the pair’s voices, floating as if they were taking a flight without motors through an idyllic virtual reality. The record will be out on 23rd August via Vagrant. How To Dress Well will be appearing at Sónar 2011. The Festival will take place from 16th to 18th June at the CCCB in Barcelona, the Fira Gran Via in L’Hospitalet, L’Auditori in Barcelona and the Teatre Grec in Barcelona. Tickets are on sale here.
