Om Unit At Sónar 2012

The Red Bull Music Academy brings you his set at the SonarDôme

Artist: Om Unit

Genre: juke, bass music, future beats, jungle

Walking by the Plaça dels Ángels on Sunday after Sónar, with no trace left of the festival, a strange feeling comes over you. Because it's weird to think you're walking where hours earlier, hundreds of people were turning the SonarDôme into a pressure cooker. One of the first big winners on that stage was London producer Om Unit, who offered a steaming set on Thursday, dominated by apocalyptic future beats and frantic rhythms influenced by jungle, juke and different kinds of bass music. Here we leave you with the recording of his set, courtesy of the Red Bull Music Academy.
