Next week, “Square” is due out, Redshape’s second album, his first for Running Back. In the wake of the applauded “The Dance Paradox”, the man in the red mask has taken advantage of the full-length format to embrace a more diverse sound palette than that of his full-lengths, opening up to styles like ambient and downtempo. His collaboration with The Spaceape on the crepuscular “Until We Burn” also stands out. Even so, followers of his initial sound will still find their familiar Redshape in cuts like “It's In The Rain” or the new version of the classic “The Playground”. Coinciding with the arrival of “The Crystal Ark”, the first full-length by the Latin-inspired project of Gavin Russom and Viva Ruiz (now expanded to a bigger band), DFA brings us the stream of four of its tracks. The album's been out since yesterday, on double LP and digital.

Scottish beatmaker Ewan Robertson, alias Offshore, is about to make his full-length debut with “Bake Haus”. The album is slated for release on 5th November via Big Dada, and we can listen to it in its entirety courtesy of the British label. We’ve left it for you here.

Barcelona musician JMII, half of Aster, has just made his solo debut on 100% Silk with “Nueva York”. We already gave you the basic information about the album months ago here. Today you have the chance to listen to the four cuts on it, forays into house jamming with an unstable analogue beat, a psychedelic glimmer, and a cosmic view, available already on a 12” record which, starting next week, will also be available digitally.

Sky Ferreira is really going for it. Today her anxiously-awaited “Ghost EP” went on sale, and she’s so impatient that she couldn’t wait to share the stream of it with anyone who wants to hear it. As you will see, apart from the well-known “Everything Is Embarrassing” (we’ll leave the video to it for you again after these lines), on the rest of the songs, she is as comfortable as a fish in water with electro-rock, Kylie Minogue-style pop, and some slower songs that sound more like Aimee Mann. Natasha Khan and Parlophone have finally stopped half-stepping, offering us the chance to listen to all of Bat For Lashes’ third full-length work. Coinciding with its release today in the UK, NPR brings us the official stream of “The Haunted Man”. Last week we could already hear six of the eleven songs on the album and one-minute fragments of the other five, so it’s only partially new to us. Dam Mantle, a.k.a. Glaswegian Tom Marshallsay, will release his sophomore album on 15th October via Notown Recordings, Gold Panda's label. Eight dark productions on which the Scottish producer displays a sound that's indebted to both instrumental hip-hop and polyhedric IDM. Listen to the whole album after the jump.

After three years of relative silence, Chilean producer Ricardo Tobar signed to Natura Sonoris for the release of “Together/Teenager EP”. The record boasts three new slices of gliding and grainy sounds, plus remixes by Fairmont, Sistema, and Microbird. The EP will be out on 15th October.
