Brooklyn trio Violens have their second album ready. “True” will be out on Slumberland on 15th May, and its first advance track is “Unfolding Black Wings”, a kind of genetic cross between the shoegaze of Ride and Pale Saints and the noise-rock of Sonic Youth, which they describe as—wait for it—their version of a Goya etching.
