The Field and Blondes are made for each other, musically speaking. In spite of the obvious differences in sound, both projects embrace the idea of trance (as a concept and goal, rather than as a style), and they use elliptical hypnotism as a way to express emotions that go beyond the earthly. So it's no wonder Kompakt asked the New Yorkers to remix the Swede's “It's Up There”. The remix is taken from a 12” released earlier this week, with further reworks by Junior Boys and Mohn.
