We said it when it was announced: “Held”, the debut full-length by the elusive Holy Other, seems destined to get stuck in our players after we're back from holiday. The melancholic title track, somewhere between introverted and serene, confirms that idea. The mood sounds more polished, and more morbid, but deeply moving. Especially at the end. Much more stripped-down, dominated by pianos and vocals that are soothing for the aching soul. It’s due out on 27th August on Tri Angle.
