While the original “Evidence” already is an exercise in confusion and contrast, on which noisenik Carlos Giffoni takes everyone by surprise opening the piece with a purely MacGuffin-style delicate piano (courtesy of Laurel Halo), before hitting us with a stabbing, acid bass line that he then tries to tame with a more “pop”, sweet tone, using his own voice. On his remix, Napolian gets rid of the acid stuff and replaces it with stuttering beats from the crunk and grime cabinet. Download here.
