Mount Eerie Expands On “Lone Bell”

Second advance track off of his new album “Clear Moon”

Artist: Mount Eerie

Record Label: P.W. Elverum and Sun

Genre: lo-fi, Drone, chamber pop

About a month ago we shared the evocative “House Shape” with you, the first advance track from Mount Eerie's upcoming album Clear Moon”. At the time, we were surprised by the accessibility of the song, but it seems to be the new standard. At least, judging from the second album teaser, Lone Bell”, a slice of dark chamber pop, reflective and cloudy, with intensely floating percussion loops and a very late-night jazz flavour, repetitive double bass sketches, raspy guitars and trembling brass. The album is due out on 22nd May.
