This coming Tuesday, “Cut The World”, a new episode in “Antony’s continued meditation on light, nature, and femininity”, according to his label, will be in the shops. As we have already mentioned, it is an album recorded live during the two concerts that Antony and the Johnsons gave last September at the DK Concert Hall in Copenhagen, accompanied by the Danish National Chamber Orchestra. Among the completely new moments captured on the album is “Cut The World”, one of the pieces that Antony composed in collaboration with William Basinski for the stage performance “The Life and Death of Marina Abramović”. This is how the song will sound on the album.
