A little over a month ago, thanks to the video for “Fryngies”, we rediscovered Karin Park in a new role. Aspiring to be a new Scandinavian muse of synthetic pop with a sombre air, she embodies someone who could take over perfectly well from Fever Ray. Now, coinciding with the announcement of the arrival of her second LP (it will be called "Highwire Poetry" and it will arrive on 28th May via State Of The Eye), the Swede presents us with a new jewel entitled “Restless”, on which she pays tribute to less formulaic 80s synth-pop.
