YACHT are touring the United States with their album “Shangri-La” (DFA, 2011) these days, and as an extra appetiser for the new gigs, they released their “Le Goudron EP” last week. After covering Brigitte's song a few days ago, they're now bringing us the extended, 7-minute version, and the remix by High Places, one of Thrill Jockey's darling bands. The EP is completed by Jona Bechtolt and Claire L. Evans' rendition of The Velvet Underground's “I’ll Be Your Mirror”.
