In the middle of the incomprehensible fuss about the infamous “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen, a compilation has surfaced featuring 43 alternative, more or less experimental electronic versions of the song. Among the renditions, most of them somewhere between tribute and mockery, Dan Deacon's experiment stands out.
