Class Actress aren’t forgetting their role as remixers. The latest of their works to come up is a reinterpretation of Blood Orange’s “Forget It”. A sort of sedated, violet power-pop with a beatbox in its original form, in the new version the Brooklynites have chosen to cook the beat at a low temperature, give it a little retro-current synthetic seasoning, and to take the song into the territory of serene disco-pop. Sounds perfect to us for the wee small hours of the morning, when nocturnal souls start to take over the streets.
