Last Friday, taking advantage of their dates in Australia, Bon Iver went into the studios of the Triple J radio station to offer a live session. Among the pieces that they performed was “Coming Down”, a cover of a semi-unknown singer-songwriter, Anais Mitchell, with whom Justin Vernon has worked in the past. The original can be heard on the Vermont singer’s new album, “Young Man In America”. What we don’t know yet is whether Vernon will use this cover as the B-side for an upcoming single, as he has done recently. Time will tell.
