“Former Lives”, the solo debut album of Benjamin Gibbard, vocalist and lyrical soul of Death Cab For Cutie, will be out in Europe on 15th October. One of the twelve songs on it is the deliciously serene “Something’s Rattling (Cowpoke)”, which to a certain extent reminds one of early DCFC, although the woodwinds may take the song a little ways into Beirut territory.
