Berlin based Turkish producer Tolga Fidan will release his next album on 21st May, via Vakant. Entitled “Rogue”, Fidan says the record was made over ten weeks of intense work in his living room. Here we leave you with its first extract, the oneiric “Fairwell 22”.
Tomorrow, “Genre-Specific Xperience Remixes EP” will be released, a digital record featuring seven reinterpretations of Fatima Al Qadiri's debut EP on UNO. Among the remixers are names like Girl Unit, DJ Rashad, Ikonika and Kingdom, who added some bass muscle to “Corpcore” and balances it out with some delicate melodies. Download after the jump.
With the recent first delivery of “Music For Keyboards”, Chris D'Eon tapped into his mystical vein when playing his synthesisers. Now, he's surprising us with a second volume, going deep into the music of … Blink 182. Particularly in the track "What's My Age Again", of which he's offering 14 different versions played on piano. A few weeks ago we told you about the release of “Half Dreams”, a new EP by Sin Fang, also known for his participation in Seabear. Today, one of its five tracks has been released as an appetiser. “Only Eyes” clearly calls for the summer to start: care-free indie-pop that could be a cross between Ariel Pink and Dominant Legs.
Little do we know about Young Hunting, apart from the fact that it's “an experimental music project based in Edinburgh, Scotland.” What we do know is that they're putting the finishing touch to their first album, supposedly coming out this spring on Blackest Ever Black. On the label's SoundCloud page the enchanted fogginess of “A List Of Indignities” is being offered up for free download. Is it the album's first advance track? We wouldn't mind if it was.
