Teengirl Fantasy are an American electronic music duo formed by Logan Takahashi and Nick Weiss. Their sound combines influences from synth-pop, dub, R&B and dance music. The group formed when they were still at Oberlin College in Ohio. Their first release was the single “Hollywood Hills / Love Don't Live Here”, in 2009. That same year they signed with Merok Records. In 2010 they released their debut album, “7AM”, on both Merok and True Panther Sounds. It can be classed as a mix of R&B, house, pop and dreamy electronica. One of the album tracks, “Cheaters”, was chosen as the best song of 2010 by FACT Magazine. The band are currently based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and have announced a new album for 2012.
