The band are one of the key artists on the chill-wave scene, alongside Toro Y Moi and Washed Out, thanks to songs such as “Should Have Taken Acid With You”, included on their debut album “Psychic Chasms”, released on Lefse Records in October 2009. A year later, Fader put out “Mind Ctrl: Psychic Chasms Possessed”, a special edition of the LP featuring remixes by artists like Toro Y Moi, Bibio, YACHT, The Antlers and Dntel. In the winter of 2010, the Denton band wet to Helsinki, Finland to record the follow up to “Psychic Chasms”. The LP, “Era Extraña”, came out in September 2011 on Transgressive Records, Mom + Pop and Static Tongues, Palomo's own label.
