Luomo is the stage name used by Finnish electronic music producer Sasu Ripatti (born 1976 in Oulu) for his excursions into house. Ripatti has recorded under different monikers, such as Vladislav Delay, Sistol, Uusitalo and Conoco - though Luomo is probably his most famous pseudonym. He is also the founder of Huume Recordings.

Luomo's first releases were three EPs on Force Tracks in the late nineties, compiled later on the album “Vocalcity”. The release is a mix of vocal house – including “Tessio”, Luomo's signature song - and elegant deep-house treated with digital glitches. “Vocalcity” was reissued in 2005 by Huume. He has released four more albums as Luomo: “The Present Lover”, possibly his most passionate work, the laid-back “Paper Tigers”, “Convivial” and “Plus”. The latter, released in 2011, shows Luomo in great shape.
