Digital Mystikz is a producers twosome formed by Mark Lawrence (Mala) and Dean Harris (Coki). They are two of the main forces of early dubstep thanks to their DMZ parties and the label of the same name - which they created in 2004 and on which they also release records by Loefah (occasional unofficial member of Digital Mystikz). Some of their most significant releases include “Pathways” and “Haunted / Anti–War Dub”, which are considered definitive pure dubstep anthems. The DMZ nights, held at Brixton club 3rd Base, are a mandatory visit for the lovers of the genre and their popularity has sky-rocketed since the start in 2005. The duo has released several singles on labels like Big Apple, Rephlex, Tempa and Soul Jazz, although their best productions are on their own DMZ imprint, like the album “Return II Space” (a Mala solo production) and “Urban Ethics” (a production by Coki).
