A good video. That was the final push we needed to surrender completely to Trevor Powers, a shy boy suffering from anxiety who found his outlet in Youth Lagoon. In order to fight his restlessness, Powers started to write songs; not about his anxiety but about his life - the memories and emotions that make him stay put, tense and on tenterhooks. His debut album, “The Year Of Hibernation”, is a kind of personal diary showing eight random pages. On one of them sounds “Montana”. A track apparently inspired by his own childhood, which features the figure of a father, tormented by the ghosts of a not so distant war. Tyler T. Williams directed the piece.
