As the marketing handbook states: when trying to penetrate a new market, a strategic alliance with an agent from said market can make things a whole lot easier. A doctrine rapper Tinie Tempah seems to be following. We assume that’s why the Briton (or the people from his label) fixed his gaze on Wiz Khalifa: the “Best New Artist” according to the BET Awards and one of the big champions of contemporary weed rap. The two share the screen in this, Tinie’s first “American video” - although, to be honest, we can’t see much chemistry between the two. Perhaps Khalifa was too baked on the day they shot it. Don’t forget Tinie Tempah - spearhead of British rap - will be playing at the upcoming Festival Internacional de Benicàssim 2011. You can get your tickets here.
