The Temper Trap
Drum Song (BretonLABS remix ft. Kate Tempest)
Australians The Temper Trap, those new idols of modern alt-rock that have no qualms when it comes to pursuing the epic emotion of “stadium rock” like U2 or Coldplay, have commissioned some remixes of their debut album. “Conditions Remixes” will see the light of day on 1st November, and will include reworks by Three Trapped Tigers, Fool's Gold, Rusko, Hervé, Peter, Bjorn & John and BretonLABS. The latter, the very same who will soon release as Breton a new 12” via Hemlock (here in their remixed version), have opted for the complete disfiguration of the post-punk base of “Drum Song”, a track they take to blurry post-dubstep territory with the help of London’s b-girl Kate Tempest. The video is interrupted in quite an abrupt way, so we also leave you with the audio version.
