The crowd at The Soft Moon’s gig at San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011 wasn’t half big. Even more so, considering the time (5:30pm on Saturday) and the place (the Llevant stage, or “Mordor” according to some people), it was not the best circumstances for a sound that would better fit midnight in an industrial warehouse somewhere. Many said jokingly that the performance would be “The Soft Moon under The Hard Sun”, but the truth is that their dark post-punk worked wonderfully, even in those conditions. If you were a zombie at that time or you couldn’t go to the festival, here we have the audio recording of the gig for you. The volume is quite low, so pump it up and experience the storm The Soft Moon works up in all its intensity, and find out why night fell in Barcelona that fateful afternoon.
