The Raveonettes Put (Ramshackle) Images To “She Owns The Streets”
The video clip follows the dance steps of a young woman around a city
The Raveonettes have joined in the trend of producing a video clip with images that look like they have been taken from those old tapes that your parents have stored away in their attics. But what leads us to confirm that they have been filmed in the present is that Sharin and Sune make several fleeting appearances. The song chosen is “ She Owns The Streets” and since they sing that “she’s dancing in the streets”, it’s justified for the camera to follow the dance steps of a young woman around the city. According to the band, the video is “a shimmering ode to personal expression, individuality, and punk couture”. Available on “Observator”, their new album, on sale on 11th September.
