‘Such cute girls playing manly sounds. I think they are wonderful.’ That's how Japanese the trio Nisennenmondai was described by one of the witnesses of their Tokyo gig in June. The words fit the terrorists of risky rock perfectly: beautiful ladies who, after a decade of rocking their country's independent scene, continue to transcend outside of Japan (cfr. their devastating passage on the opening day of San Miguel Primavera Sound 2011). The video shows the way their fans, friends and colleagues see them, the band tell us how they came up with the idea to create their own label, Bijin Records, and they show their excellent live skills.
