Mujeresare one of the biggest talents of the Barcelona garage rock scene. Good Barcelonese that they are, their biggest wish when they started out was to play at the Apolo, something they have now done a few times. On 18th April, the Noisey cameras travelled to the city of wonders to show us what a day in the life of the band looks like. They explain they got to know each other at film school, make fun of the artists who end up being “civil servants of rock” (always playing the same tracks in the same order, night after night), and they reveal their devotion for vinyl, showing off their copies of records by Magnolia Electric Co. and Television Personalities. There are more surprises, but you should see for yourself. As usual, there’s also live footage of them playing songs like “L.A.” and “Blood Meridian”. Mujeres as seen by Noisey.
