Kindness Teams Up With Trouble Funk

Live video for “That's Alright”

Adam Bainbridge is definitely on his way to becoming the most original artist in 2012 when it comes to exceptional videos. He surprised us with the recycled video for “Gee Up”, with his "educational film" for “House”, and now he does the same with the clip for “That's Alright”. As Bainbridge himself explains, Kindness' “That's Alright” is almost entirely based on samples from “Still Smokin”, a song by Trouble Funk, the veteran DC go-go band. That's why, when thinking about visual accompaniment for his track, our hero decided to ask the band he took his inspiration from to play it live, with him as a guest member. And that's what they did, last 15th July at the U Street Music Hall in Washington DC.
