On 16th May, Fish People will release “Director’s Cut”, an update of the tracks from Kate Bush’s albums “The Sensual World” (EMI, 1989) and “The Red Shoes” (EMI, 1993), which is why they thought it would be a good idea to make a new, rather disturbing video for “Deeper Understanding” (from “The Sensual World”), where Kate, even though she doesn’t appear in it, seems to comment on the computer era and the mental disturbances it can cause. Well, that’s one interpretation, anyway. Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid from the Harry Potter films, for younger readers) gets under the spell of an auto-tuned voice coming from the mouth on his screen, estranging from his family and eventually walking out to go on what could be the start of a killing spree. His (first?) victim is none other than Noel Fielding. Mighty Bush, anyone?
