Last Friday, Kanye West delighted us with yet another of his G.O.O.D. Fridays - a new joint in collaboration with Common, Pusha T from Clipse, Kid Cudi, Big Sean and Charlie Wilson that might be included on West’s new full-length album, rechristened “Dark Twisted Fantasy” and scheduled for release on 16th November. But only a few hours later, the track was eclipsed by West’s performance at the 2010 MTV Music Awards. Not only did he get rid of the persona non grata status he earned himself at last year’s ceremony, but he was also invited to play live. And Kanye, willing to do things right this time over, took advantage of this opportunity to present “Runaway”, a song considered by many as an indirect apology to Taylor Swift, who was present in the audience.
