Limit to your Love
James Blake is slowly but surely becoming hyped, though it must be admitted the attention he’s getting beyond the electronic music scene is more than justified. The quality of his previous outputs is good reason for such media commotion. But the thing is that, judging by his most recent decisions—like choosing his cover version of Feist as his upcoming single and opting for Pitchfork to launch his first official video—Blake seems determined to create a new pop identity for himself. Martin de Thurah has directed the video for “Limit to your Love”, in which Blake shows his face and plays the role of a silent, melancholic and sophisticated crooner.
